The idea of establishing museum in Terminal 2 at Cairo International Airport started in 2020. And that is through starting point, through visitors’ episode, on ancient history of Egypt. Museum was built in Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and Ministry of Civil Aviation on area of about 100 m2.
Museum display expresses luminous touches in history of Egypt throughout its eras. Museum displays unique artifacts that highlight artistic and historical features of each era, starting with ancient Egyptian times, in addition to highlighting characteristics of Roman, Coptic, Islamic and modern era arts.
